2023 Winter Timetable
Training for all squads changes to the new timetable from Tuesday April 11th.
All questions relating to the training timetable need to be queried directly with Head Coach , who works with the coaches and the pool managers to determine the squad program, structure and lane space. Please direct all queries to Alex by email to alex.palmer@starplex.com.au

Squad Descriptions
All squad progression is at the coaching staff’s discretion. Not every athlete will fit into the requirements and sometimes concessions will be made if it is in the best interest of the swimmer. These decisions are between coach, parent and athlete and are asked to be respected
National Squad / Senior Squad
Competing at a National Age/Open or Senior Competition level with a senior training standard. Mentally and physically mature and able to consistently train at the standard set by the coach and program.
Training 7-9 sessions per week with additional gym sessions
Available for interstate competitions throughout the season
National Development Squad
Aiming to compete at a National Age level or have qualified for National Age
Competing at a SA State final or medal level
Training 6-7 sessions per week at the standard set by the coach and program
Within the age of qualifying for Nationals within the next 12 months
State Squad
Aiming to compete at a State level or capable of training at the standard set by the coach and program.
Training 4+ sessions per week
Building race skills by competing at local competitions targeted by the coaches
State Development Squad
Aiming to compete and progress to a State level of competition
Training 3+ sessions per week
Building race skills by competing at local competitions targeted by the coaches
